KNOW YOUR MACHINE.
The work. The epochs. The pack.
01When does mint open?
The mint date has not been announced. Follow @madogz_rh for the opening date, final pricing and verified contract address. Mining and minting are not open yet.
02How will I mine a Madog?
The planned entry is 1,800 HDOGZ once per wallet to activate mining. After activation, your device searches for valid work locally. You can keep mining without paying the activation again; each successful NFT mint costs the epoch price in ETH plus gas. Finding work does not reserve an NFT. Activation and minting are not open yet.
03What if somebody else mints while my wallet is open?
The contract draft keeps a mining job valid through other mints in the same epoch, until that job’s original expiry. A new epoch, sellout or a change in your wallet’s eligibility can still invalidate it. Your proof is checked again before the wallet prompt. Jobs do not reserve supply or guarantee transaction inclusion.
04Does every mining attempt send a network request?
No. Hashing runs locally on your device. The mining client shares state reads, caches repeated requests and backs off when the RPC is busy. Background monitoring pauses when the page is hidden or the connection is offline. Wallet transactions are never automatically retried.
05How many Madogz are there?
The lifetime mint cap is 12,000 NFTs across 11 epochs, numbered 00 to 10. Epochs advance with total minted supply, not circulating supply. Optional burns permanently reduce the surviving NFT supply and never reopen mint slots. The final number in circulation depends on holders’ choices.
06How do community whitelists work?
WL access comes through our partner communities and their raffles. Selected wallets receive a free mining boost: Beta starts at 1.1× (+10%) and Alpha at 1.2× (+20%). Alpha replaces Beta when both apply. WL does not reserve an NFT or cover its mint price. Use the selected wallet at launch, find valid work and pay the NFT mint price plus gas. WL bonuses fade through epochs 00–05 and reach baseline at epoch 06. Wallet allocations will be announced through @madogz_rh.
07How much do the mining passes cost?
Scout costs 0.002 ETH (1.1×), Crew costs 0.004 ETH (1.3×) and Apex costs 0.006 ETH (1.5×). Prices and payments are fixed in ETH, with gas separate. Only your highest paid tier applies. Paid boosts last through mint; sales open with the verified launch contracts.
08What is Proof of Holder?
Proof of Holder is our name for mining boosts tied to eligible NFTs in your wallet: selected OG collections and Hashcats. Each category has its own bonus and rules. Minting still uses Proof of Work: find valid work, then pay the mint price plus gas. Holding an eligible NFT does not reserve a mint. Eligibility checks open at launch.
09What do OG holders receive?
The planned OG benefit starts at 1.1× (+10%) for holders of eligible NFTs from selected collections. One collection or several gives the same OG bonus. Each qualifying OG NFT supports three successful boosted mints over its lifetime, including when combined with paid or WL boosts. Transfers do not reset that allowance. Additional qualifying NFTs provide their own remaining allowances, not a higher multiplier. OG bonuses reach baseline at epoch 06. Final eligibility will be published before mint.
10What do Hashcats holders receive?
Hold at least one Hashcat in your mining wallet for a separate 1.2× (+20%) bonus. One or more Hashcats gives the same single bonus. It stays active until sellout while you hold a Hashcat, with no staking and no regular OG three-mint quota. Hashcats is excluded from the ordinary OG list: it can combine with one other eligible OG bonus, but additional OG collections do not add another bonus. Wallet eligibility checks open at launch.
11Can I combine boosts?
Yes: your 1.0× base plus one paid pass, your highest WL tier, one regular OG bonus and the separate Hashcats holder bonus. Bonuses add; they do not multiply. The maximum starting boost is 2.0×: Apex +50%, Alpha WL +20%, OG +10%, Hashcats +20%. WL and regular OG bonuses reach zero by epoch 06. Paid passes and Hashcats stay active until sellout, for a maximum of 1.7× from epoch 06. Boosts change mining difficulty, not your device’s measured speed or your share of rewards.
12Do holders receive rewards while mint is still open?
Yes. The base allocation is 70% of later mint payments for earlier-epoch NFTs. When an eligible NFT has burned, 30% of its would-be future share goes to the vault and 70% to surviving eligible NFTs. Paid passes separately share 70% with all live NFTs. Holders claim during mint; unclaimed rights follow the NFT. If no eligible live NFT remains for a payment, its holder allocation goes to the vault.
13What happens after the final epoch?
At 12,000 lifetime mints, minting closes and the vault starts its weekly schedule. After each completed week, 2% of its remaining balance becomes claimable by living NFTs. The first release is seven days after sellout; there is no fixed final date. Claims can include several elapsed weeks. Burns do not reopen mint slots, and payments are limited to funded ETH.
14Does my NFT need to be staked to receive ETH?
No. Keep the NFT in your own wallet. Each NFT has its own accrued ETH balance, which its current holder can claim. No staking deposit, lock period or custody transfer is required. Unclaimed rewards follow the NFT when it transfers. Burning permanently destroys the NFT, settles its accrued ETH and ends its future holder rights.
15What is HDOGZ?
HDOGZ is the token used for the planned one-time mining activation and NFT burn redemptions. The NFT mint itself remains payable in ETH. Burning settles the NFT’s accrued ETH and exchanges it for HDOGZ under the final redemption rules. Redemptions require a funded token reserve; a failed payout must leave the NFT intact. Swaps and redemption stay closed until the official contracts and market are verified. No staking is required.
16Can the contracts be updated?
The collection and funded burn reserve are being prepared as upgradeable contracts, so fixes can keep the same public addresses. Their administrator can update the code, change metadata and eligibility, and pause mining or redemption. This authority can also change economic rules and affect funds; it is a trust assumption, not an immutable guarantee. A multisig administrator is planned, but no administrator address or upgrade delay is configured yet. Verified contracts and their controls will be published before mint. HDOGZ’s own permissions depend on its separate token contract.
17Do I need to connect my wallet now?
No. Explore the collection and launch information without connecting a wallet. Wallet connection, eligibility verification and mint transactions will open when their contracts and launch configuration are ready.
